| Elliott's Stars is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in need through horseback riding and horsemanship by providing them with the tools necessary to live productive, meaningful lives.
In addition to providing emotional healing and growth, this program serves a need in the community by helping these children develop life skills, such as socialization, self-esteem, team work, leadership and responsibility.
Elliott's Stars is named after our beloved horse Elliott, a loving and caring creature who made a difference in many lives.
The children in our program are able to go through this life-changing experience thanks to Shanna at Free Spirit Riding Academy. This riding academy has helped over 25 children since 2007 gain skills that have changed their lives forever.
Shanna, an experienced rider and trainer, has been helping people for the last 7 years. She has identified a need in the community and established her academy in 2007 so she can serve children from a diverse background. Her own experience and background is essential to this program and all the children identify with her.
